WANTED: Greddy Black box

Alright G3-TEG. I talked to the guy (He owns a shop) and he has one. He wants $55 for it. That sounds a little high to me, but I paid $1400 for mine! (LOL. Had to buy the whole turbo kit around it. )

Seneka: You don't have to use the black box. I just chose to because I had it lying around. Why not, right? It's just a way to electrically fool the MAP sensor into thinking there's no boost. The DRAG kit comes with check valves to accomplish this, which worked fine for me. I just chose to install the black box n addition to the check valves. If you want one I can look for another one, but I don't know where I would find it.

Yo Inboost. Did you ever get around to installing that black box you had? It works great on mine. Forget about hooking up the 'green' wire tho. Not necessary for the DRAG kits. (Hear that G3?)

Big thanks for your help and info.. green wire? don't use it? run it by me one more time why not? If the greddy kit suggests using it, wouldn't it be benificial to run it with other kits as well? (although mine is custom, same thing right? hah)

Let me know if your friend wants to sell me the black box.. $55 is a little high, i've seen them for like $25-$35 on the parts trader
let me know though.. there's seems to be a sudden shortage and no one is selling them haha.. sucks
